When trying to contact aliens, we may often run into the issue of time. How is it that we never know when we might meet again? The issue may lie in a difference between how time is experienced.

Via my many communications with the Other Kind, they have conveyed to me the following.

Humans experience time like this:

This, in the Other Kind’s world, is referred to as Planet Earth Standard Time (PEST).

Meanwhile, the Other Kind experience time like this:

This is what I’ve deemed Alien Nonstandard Time, (ANT), although it should be noted that not all alien communities experience time this way. The Other Kind have conveyed to me that there are other communities whose experience of time is something more along the lines of the following, to the best of their understanding:

ANT is simultaneous: past, present, future, all at once, such that they cannot even understand the concept of these terms. Therefore, asking them when you will meet again is a nonsensical question. There is no “later” for them, no “again”—each time you will meet them throughout your life, they are presently experiencing it as you speak. There is no differentiation. Your meetings are contemporaneous in their minds.
